Went to Costco today and got a Bayside CORC-6 Metro Mesh Office Chair for $99 because my old chair is ripping apart and the padding is becoming flat.

After Costco, I went to Macy’s and got a couple of Kenneth Cole Reaction dress shirts. These were buy 1 get 1 free.

Update: I went to OfficeMax to look if they had better chairs, and I found a very nice black leather Serta Executive High-Back Chair. Normally $230, but it was on sale for $160. So, I bought this chair, and I’ll be returning the Costco one. Below is a picture of my new chair next to my old chair.

Stopped by Costco after work and picked up a 24 Hour Fitness 2-year membership for $349.99.

Started my first day at Dolby today! I’m going to be an Information Technology intern for 3 months.

On May 1st, there was a deal for a Motorola Bluetooth Keyboard on AT&T’s site for only $10, so I ordered 1 right away. The package arrived just at first and it’s pretty nice. It was made for the Motorola ATRIX phone / Motorola XOOM tablet, so not every function key works on my HTC One. The media control and volume keys work, but the internet, sms, email, and a couple other keys don’t work as expected. Anyway, it is a good deal and I will probably be keeping this keyboard.

 

I bought a microUSB OTG adapter for my phone from starangle88, a Chinese seller on eBay, for only $1.00! Shipping was free and it took 11 days to arrive, which is pretty quick compared to other Chinese sellers. The quality of the plastic feels a little cheap, but still good enough to last many uses.

I tested this OTG adapter by plugging in my USB extension cable, which connects to my USB hub, which has my Apple keyboard, Logitech G9x mouse, and HP printer. The keyboard and mouse worked great, just as expected. However, I was unable to use the printer to print anything. It could be that my printer is too old, or I didn’t have the right app to make it work, but I don’t mind because I wouldn’t be printing anything from my phone anyway.
