I cannot see!

So sad… yesterday I went to the DMV to renew my drivers license. When it was my turn to go up to the counter to give the form to the lady, she saw that it said “Corrective Lens” on the paper which means I needed glasses. I wasn’t wearing any glasses, so the lady thought maybe there was a mistake on the paper and she let me do the eye test. “Read line A-1,” she said. “C D …” “Wrong, that’s not a D.” I looked more closely and it still looked like a D, so I said D again. Then she kind of gave me another chance, “If it’s not a D, what would it be?” I still couldn’t read it so I just guessed, “P?” “Nope, I really hope you wear glasses when you drive.” And that was that. I hope next time when I renew my license, I can pass the eye test so my license won’t have “RSTR: CORR LENS” on it anymore! In case you’re wondering, that second letter was an O.
