Finally, I have switched to Comcast Xfinity Triple Play today! Check out my wireless connection speed:

With a wired connection, I can get 36Mb/s download! When I had Sonic.net, it was only 5Mb/s download and 1Mb/s upload. Overall, I’m pretty happy with Comcast right now.

Update (5/12/12): I set up my WNDR3400 router which has a 5ghz band and using it increases my download speed a bit!

Update (5/22/12): I think my router was set up incorrectly because my internet connection kept disconnecting. So I changed a setting and it seems like the problem is fixed now! Plus, I’m getting max download speeds on wifi!

I got a 5 pound bag of Haribo Gummi Peaches from Amazon for $5.74. It’s my first time trying it and it’s not as good as I hoped it would be. My favorite Haribo gummies are the bears, cola, and mini rainbow frogs.

In other news, my mom’s desktop computer kept turning off after a few hours of usage and making beeping noises. I thought it was overheating, so I cleaned the inside and sprayed compressed air to remove all the dust. After doing all that, the problem still persisted. So… time for a new computer! I went to Costco today and bought an HP Pavilion p7-1287c Desktop PC that has an Intel i5-2400 3.1GHz (quad core), 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, and Wi-Fi b/g/n for $599. This is replacing my mom’s old AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2GHz (single core), 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD.
