Went to Best Buy today to buy an Arris TM722G DOCSIS 3.0 telephony cable modem ($149.99), and a Netgear N600 Wireless-N Dual Band Router WNDR3400 ($79.99). Now I’m ready to switch to Comcast on Tuesday when the technician comes over to install everything!

My mom wanted the double play package with voice and internet at first, and then add the tv later, but then she found out they will charge a separate installation fee for when they come the 2nd time. So instead of doing that, she’s just going to wait a month for our Dish Network contract to end and get the triple play package and have 1 installation fee. The Comcast internet speed will be the Performance one which is 20 Mbps!
