Paint & Square

My uncle mixed up the paint color for my car and helped me paint over the scratch on Friday! Now it looks good as new… almost!

I also received my Square card reader, which lets me accept credit card payments with a 2.75% fee. It works with iOS devices (iPod Touch, iPad, iPhone), and Android devices.

Scratched Car and Good Burger

Welp, today was a not-so-good day because as I was parking in the school parking garage, I got too close to the wall and it scraped the side of my back passenger door as I was turning into the spot.

After school, I went to Five Guys with Doug to try out a burger there. They let us choose what to put in the burger, and I asked for everything. It was delicious, but kind of expensive and I still like In-N-Out burgers more.

In other news, my mom had gotten a free Garmin nüvi 265W which she didn’t need, so she gave it to me. It’s pretty good and its better than using my phone’s GPS.

Chrome Notebook

Today was an exciting day because I knew there was a package for me that came yesterday in San Francisco. After my class ended at 3:20pm in SJSU, I hopped on the I-280 freeway and drove straight to SF so that I can play with my new gadget: the CR-48 Google Chrome Notebook! I like it so far, and I plan to bring it to my computer classes everyday. It is lightweight and is supposed to last 8 hours of active usage. Here’s some pictures for you guys to drool over:

SmokeEaters

Last night, Kyle, Joe, and Wakako came to Cupertino to pick me up to eat chicken wings at SmokeEaters for my birthday! When we got there, Doug was already there waiting for us. We ordered 50 pieces: 25 honey bbq, 10 thai, 10 teriyaki, 5 infernos. Teal came a little bit after we ordered because she just finished work, and then Griselda and Lynna came when we were almost done eating!

After that, we went to Teal’s house which was like 3 blocks away. Me and Kyle played “beer” pong against Joe and Doug, but there was no beer, so we played by doing push ups. We lost pretty badly… ended up having to do 60 push ups. But then Kyle suggested double-or-nothing! We played a 2nd game and lost badly again, probably because the table was really short and it was too easy for Doug! So in the end, we were supposed to do 120 pushups, but I only did a total of 60 and got too tired, whereas Kyle just dodged the whole thing! We’ll have to make him do the 120 pushups the next time we see him. 😀

After the fun ended, Doug went back to his San Jose house, and Griselda dropped me off at Cupertino, and the rest of them went back to San Francisco.
