i went to Marshalls today with griselda, and found myself a cool batman hat for $9.99!

alright, i’m back from hawaii! got back 3 days ago actually. here’s everything that i remember doing for the past 2 weeks.

monday, august 2 – received my starcraft 2 collector’s edition that i ordered on july 27th.

tuesday, august 3 – hung out with joe, doug, and kyle before i left to hawaii.

wednesday, august 4 – woke up early to go to the airport to catch the plane from SF to hawaii! the flight was at around 9am, and it took around 5-6 hours to get to Oahu, Hawaii. when we got there, we had to move our clocks backwards 3 hours, so it became 11am. first thing i noticed was the bus system… it was named TheBus. so simple. we had to take the bus to get to our hotel, and it was $2.50 for adults. so expensive. anyway, we didn’t do much when we got there. we ate lunch, and booked our guided tour for the next day. checked out the view from our hotel room, and it was pretty nice.

thrusday, august 5 – woke up early again this time to catch our guided bus tour, the Grand Circle Island Tour, driven by Roberts Hawaii. saw some nice scenery/beaches, Dole’s pineapple plantation, and other various things. the bus driver, Pablo, (also the tour guide) was entertaining, knowledgeable, and had funny bad jokes.

friday, august 6 – had to wake up early again today (this is how vacationing is) to visit pearl harbor. had a tour around chinatown afterwards and that’s pretty much it for this day.

saturday, august 7 – went to the polynesian culture center, saw many different cultures. pretty good show at the end.

sunday, august 8 – didn’t do anything today, just went shopping a little bit at the Hilo Hattie store — hawaii’s famous store, i think.

monday, august 9 – went snorkling today. this was probably the best thing i’ve done in hawaii.

tuesday, august 10 – went to Ala Moana Center, the biggest mall in hawaii. it has 4 floors and has over 290 stores.

wednesday, august 11 – woke up very early to get to the airport by 7am for the flight back to san francisco. had to stop at the LA airport and wait 2 hours for the next flight to SF though. finally got home around 9:30pm.

saturday, august 14 – went paintballing with griselda, kevin, herman, elliot, samer, and qui. it’s my first time playing and it’s kind of scary, so i just played safe most of the time and stayed behind the obstacles, slowly peeking out to try to shoot people.

wednesday, august 18 – played some basketball with carroll, phillip, and kyle. we played horse, knockout, and tips. it was pretty fun to play outdoors on this nice sunny day. afterwards, we played some mahjong with griselda.

thursday, august 19 – it’s my mom’s birthday today! happy birthday!

wednesday, july 28 – i found a pair of nike, black reflective crocs, from nordstrom rack for $40! i really wanted it, so i told griselda to return the pair of black adidas that i’ve never worn and get the nike for me. welp, she did it, and i love it! i tried to take 2 pictures, one without flash, and one with flash so you can see it reflect light, but i don’t think you can see it that well in the photos.

saturday, july 31 – met griselda’s korean friends today and ate homemade korean food! then at night, we met up carroll, kyle, lynna, and surprised joe at his work. we celebrated his early birthday at carroll’s empty house that he’s renting out. the mini party was fun.
