wednesday, july 21 – went with carroll, kyle, and joe to visit doug because he came back from japan. doug got a black t-shirt for me! the bag has a wax paper inside, but if you look through it, you’ll see what’s on the t-shirt…

thursday, july 22 – went back to doug’s house again, this time with: kyle, joe, lynna, griselda, and wakako. he give us our 2nd gifts and some snacks from japan! we all got our own super hero, customized with our faces!

also, i “won” this ramen toilet paper holder in doug’s little raffle:

i also watched toy story 3 with kyle, doug, carroll, and joe at 9:55pm. pretty good story, i’d rate it 4 out of 5.

sunday, july 25 – elliot came over so that i could fix a virus problem on his laptop. he also got me a t-shirt from when he was at hong kong!

tuesday, july 27 – watched inception today with carroll, jenny, kyle, griselda, joe, and harry at 10:45pm. it was a crazy movie… i would rate it 4 out of 5. when i got home, i went on slickdeals and found a deal… Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty Collector’s Edition for $79.99! the total was $87.59 with tax. it’s a pretty good deal because regular price is $99.99 + tax would be around $110.

i ordered a 3 Port Smart HDMI Switch just now from amazon for $13.59! i’ve been wanting one for a long time because my tv only has 1 hdmi port, and i always have to go to the back of it to switch between my xbox 360 and ps3 hdmi connections. now that i’ll have this switch, it’ll be a lot easier! it has a remote too.

yesterday, i went to marshalls with griselda at like 4pm to return something. i then went around the store and look at hats again, and this time i found a white SF hat!

at 8pm, i made her go play some basketball with me and we played for 50 minutes. later at ~1am, we went to classic bowling to meet up joe, kyle, and carroll and we played bowled 3 games. we finished at 3am and we went home. it was fun because we haven’t went bowling in months.

friday, july 9 – i went to the doctor today for a checkup. i was expecting him to check my balls and stuff, but all he did was use the stethoscope to listen to my heart. and the assistant checked my blood pressure and temperature. after that i did the tuberculosis skin test, and got my blood drawn for the first time! i was scared about them getting my blood, but it didn’t hurt at all!

saturday, july 10 – had a SFSU transfer orientation today which started at 9am… and i woke up at 8:55am! so i jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth, changed clothes, and ran to the 28 bus stop on taraval. thank god i live only 5 minutes away from SFSU, and i got to the orientation at like 9:15am. didn’t miss anything important! 🙂 anyway, it was kind of boring. by end of the orientation at 3:30pm, i signed up 2 classes: CSC230 and PHYS 220. i will be adding more classes later on the 2nd registration date!

after this orientation, i went with my dad to hollister and got a pair of yellow sweatpants for less than $10!

monday, july 5 – went to american eagle with my parents and i got 2 pairs of jeans for about $53 total!

tuesday, july 6 – went to office depot today with griselda, and we each got our own 2.1 speaker system, a Cyber Acoustics CA-3602! the original price is $49.99, and it is on sale for $29.99! i went online with the display computers in the store to check the reviews and prices for the speakers — it had pretty high ratings, and the lowest price online was $38… so i quickly got one and paid for it. i’ve been wanting a 2.1 speaker system for a very long time now. 😀

here’s the description for the speakers:

  • 5.25″ diameter woofer for thunderous bass. A long-throw voice coil and tuned port on the subwoofer further enhance the repsonse.
  • Flat-panel satellite speakers for clear, well-defined sound. Each satellite has 2″ drivers provide great audio in mid- and high-range. Satellites are magnetically shielded, so they can be placed near a CRT monitor.
  • Delivers a total of 32 watts RMS power for great sound. Each 4-ohm satellite delivers 6 watts RMS, while the subwoofer is rated at 20 watts.
  • Wired desktop control offers easy control of volume and power. There are separate controls for master volume and bass volume. It also has a headphone jack and Aux input jack.
  • Includes complete cable assembly for quick setup. Also includes stand for an MP3 player (player not included).
  • Convenient size for most desktop systems. Each satellite speaker is 7.75″H x 2.75″W x 2.75″D. The subwoofer is 10″H x 7″W x 7.5″D.

i am lovin’ these speakers so far!
